We provide cybersecurity advisory services including growth strategy and execution as well as cyber governance programs for both Boards and management. We have deep knowledge of the issues, companies, and stakeholders driving value creation across the technology market.
Our Belief
We are living in the Golden Age of Innovation - a period of remarkable opportunity enabled by profound tectonic shifts such as artificial intelligence, cloud, IoT, mobility, and distributed ledgers. In this Golden Age, every industry, organization, and leader has the imperative to reinvent how they deliver goods, interact with stakeholders, and accelerate growth. This is Cynergy.
Unfortunately, these techtonic shifts have enabled new classes of bad actors who are taking advantage of vulnerabilities in these platforms to create new risks in the form of cyber threats. As a result, many organizations recognize that cybersecurity is a top business risk. Fewer understand the role security risk management (and trust) have in value creation. We believe the winners will be those who act on both.
These are the dynamics that inspired us to create Cynergy Partners.

In April 2018, I started Cynergy Partners to help amazing companies reach their dreams and expand contributions to the cybersecurity community. I'm passionate about building great teams, coaching leaders and youth athletics, and all things NBA basketball.
I've been blessed to work with amazing clients and colleagues, serve on the board of directors of fantastic firms, and speak frequently on security and business strategy. For 30 years, the Bay Area has been home, including 15 years as CEO of cybersecurity and data management companies.
In January 2012, I joined The Chertoff Group as a founding member of the Silicon Valley office. From April 2014 - March 2018 , I served as a Principal, member of the Operating Committee, and was responsible for the Strategy Practice. In 2017, this role expanded to include leadership for the Technology vertical at the firm.
